What Is Honed Concrete?

Honed concrete is quite different from polished concrete. Polish concrete is the finish that use for inside flooring – It looks beautiful but is slippery when it is wet. It is not suitable for any wet areas or exteernal flooring and this is when honed concrete is the perfect solution!.
The smooth surface texture is achieved by cutting back the top layer of the concrete with our resurfacing equipment. Through the use of diamond abrasives, we can adjust the amount of exposed stones on the surface, creating the desired level of texture.
We prioritize safety and make sure that the honed concrete surface is slip safe, especially when wet. We strictly adhere to the slip rating guidelines outlined in Australian Standards to reduce the risk of injuries..
